Biodex offers a variety of options for neuromuscular testing and rehabilitation. The Biodex system can be used for testing and rehabilitation of the knee, ankle, hip, shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist and also used for work specific exercises during the rehab process. There are several modes of operation for exercise and testing which include Isokinetic, Passive, Isometric, Isotonic and Reactive Eccentric. The Biodex is beneficial for doctors both preoperatively and postoperatively in determining deficits in strength between joints when compared bilaterally. Information obtained through the test provides physical therapists and your doctor with baseline data to compare with follow-up testing upon completion of the rehabilitation program. Your physician is sent a copy of the report to show progress and any remaining deficits. |
